That it's a full, functional workout. And all the awesome people in the community!

Rowing, Pull Ups, and Thrusters

Favorite things to do outside of the gym:
Pickleball. Yoga. And talking with friends over coffee.

How did you first get into CrossFit?
I first got into CrossFit because I wanted a systematic way to build overall strength and conditioning. One of my first CrossFit coaches emphasized the importance of tracking my results. And now, one of my favorite things to do is log my progress. So I can push for a PR. Or, if I need to, scale back. CrossFit is a part of my life I'll keep forever because I love how many modifications can be made for each workout.

Why did you decide to become a yoga teacher?
I was casually introduced to yoga. And at the start, didn't have any goals or expectations with it. It quickly because a huge part of my life. And helped me become a happier, healthier, kinder version of myself. I've been teaching since 2022. And I can't imagine another job I'd rather do. And I'm constantly inspired by teachers, and students, to learn, and continue to grow.
